Benefits

Help the Chagas Disease Foundation achieve it goals of increasing awareness, funding for research, and advancing understanding of Trypanosoma cruzi infection and Chagas disease by registering your research program with the Foundation.

Fill in the requested information and your site will be displayed on the Chagas Research Map and will rotate on the home page of The Chagas Disease Foundation site as one of the "Research Spotlight" groups. The potential benefits to your group include the ability to advertise and promote your work to the research and global community. This will allow other researchers to identify potential collaborators and trainees to locate prospective mentors for further training. Registered groups are also encouraged to indicate if they have particular monetary or equipment needs. Donors to the Chagas Disease Foundation can ask that their contributions be targeted for a particular research effort or group, country, etc.

Most importantly, by registering you are helping to bring more attention to the global research efforts on Chagas disease by contributing to what we hope will become a comprehensive inventory of research efforts on Chagas disease.

We especially encourage you to upload pictures of you and the members of your group as well as videos relevant to your efforts on Chagas disease.

Requirements

The only requirement for registering is that you be involved in research or other efforts in Chagas Disease. The more complete the set of information you enter, the better this repository will be and the greater the benefit to you and the research community. In order to be featured as a "Research Spotlight" group on the home page, the minimum information that must be entered includes a Lab Director's name, organization, location, contact information, and an appropriate picture.

Verification

New registrants will be able to enter their site on the Chagas Research Map. Although the information entered will be visable to the registrant, it will not be viewable to the rest of the world until it has been checked and validated by the site administrator.
